The scriptural offices of Jerusalem Baptist Church are Pastor, Elder, and Deacon. All leaders in the Church (Pastors, Elders, Deacons, and Staff) are expected to be accessible and available to each other and to the members of the Church. This enables the leaders to minister to the needs and concerns of the members and enables the leaders to benefit from the insights of member. 

We have a rich history that predates the Revolutionary War and the Constitution of the United States. Originally founded as Payne’s Church, the church’s roots began as part of the Church of England (today’s Episcopal church) in 1766.
